Marlon Hunter has more than 25 years of combined experience in public health, healthcare, occupational safety, and environmental health. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Health and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management. Mr. Hunter has a broad range of experiences with government and private organizations in urban and rural communities.

Mr. Hunter served with DeKalb County Board of Health in Decatur Georgia, Carolina’s Health Care System in Charlotte, North Carolina, Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee, and most recently as Public Health Director at Forsyth County Department of Public Health in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Mr. Hunter is now serving as President and Chief Executive Officer with ReGenesis Health Care in Spartanburg SC.

Under his leadership, he has served on numerous community-based boards in efforts to improve Local, State, National and Global Health Outcomes.

CIMS is an Independent Practice Association (IPA) owned by 14 South Carolina Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), also known as Community Health Centers (CHC). The centers share the same vision for achieving exceptional clinical outcomes for the patients served while improving the financial position of each Partner FQHC.

Organized and operated as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), CIMS is a private, for-profit partnership established January 23, 2008 with each FQHC owning an equal share of the IPA and having one seat on the Board of Directors.
